Account Information: Email address and optionally your name, used to create and manage your account.

Usage Data: Anonymized metrics about feature usage and token consumption to improve the product.

Chat & Task Data: Conversations are processed to generate AI responses. Chat history is stored locally on your device. We do not access your chat history without your explicit permission.

Payment Information: Billing is handled by third-party processors. We do not store your full payment details on our servers.

Technical Data: Operating system version and application version for diagnostics and updates.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
To authenticate your account and manage your subscription
To process payments and send billing communications
To send service updates and security notices
To comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage & Security

Account data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security. Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device in an encrypted, machine-specific format — they cannot be decrypted on another machine. We use industry-standard security practices, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

Payment processors to handle subscription billing
AI model providers to process your requests — only the content of each request is sent
Infrastructure providers (Supabase) for storage and authentication
Law enforcement when required by applicable law

5. Your Rights

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information while your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days except where legally required to retain it.

7. Children's Privacy

LynxAI is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us immediately if you believe a child's data has been collected.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
